Members of ‘Team FHDC’ recently raised over £2000 for Cancer Research UK by climbing Pen-Y-Ghent.

“We are absolutely delighted to have beaten the target of £1500 we set ourselves” says Practice Manager Gemma.

“For some of the team this was the first time they had donned a pair of walking boots so to have raised a total of £2062.01 was fantastic. We would like to thank everyone who made a donation via the charity box on reception or sponsorship”.

Oral Cancer claims thousands of lives in the UK each year. FHDC dentists screen for the symptoms of this cancer as part of routine dental examinations. We appreciate the research that is carried out by Cancer Research UK and we are proud to have contributed towards this valuable life saving research.
