Invisalign Teeth Straightening Simulation
It’s Monday lunch time and I’m sat in the dental chair having my teeth scanned for an Invisalign Teeth Straightening Simulation. Why? Well, I’m being a guinea pig for some potential new scanning technology at the practice. As a non dentist team member at FHDC and as someone who was quite phobic, I’m naturally the person who gets asked so sit in the chair whilst new bits of tech are tested, to give feedback from a patients’s perspective. It’s important as one of Leeds leading private and cosmetic dentists that we keep up to date with new technology and decide whether or not it will be of benefit and whether the cost is worth the investment.
Secretly today I’ve been looking forward to being in the chair as I’ve been able to get some before and after images of what Invisalign clear braces teeth straightening would look like after treatment.
Invisalign is a short-term orthodontic system that uses clear aligners to move teeth through a series of carefully controlled movements by using removable aligners that are personally designed for your teeth. In most cases, results can be delivered in a matter of months.
The first image below shows an actual scan of my teeth and the second scan shows a second scan after a simulation of the Invisalign treatment. Very clever.

So can I see the potential benefit of going through the Invisalign process, yes. I now need to find the time to book in to see our Invisalign dentist!
