I only have 4 weeks to go now until my trip to Nepal Volunteering on a Dental Clinic!
So far I have raised just over £1000 , two thirds of my target. I will be working in a clinic set up in a school in Kathmandu treating children who have no access to dental care. We will be seeing children from various orphanages, schools and remote villages.
Nepal has only a few hundred dentists to treat a population of 28 million! Many of these children are in pain affecting their quality of life and have no access to treatment. Giving preventative advice, Oral Hygiene Instruction, fluoride treatments, extracting teeth and saving teeth are the main aims.
This is something I have always wanted to help with and I want to thank FHDC who have been very supportive with my trip working with Global Dental Relief. All donations towards this worthwhile project are greatly appreciated however small, it all adds up! It will help fund equipment and materials for the clinics and Oral hygiene aids for the children to take away.
You can donate in practice or follow the link to my JustGiving page.
Thank you for reading and for your support.
