If you have tired looking or damaged white composite fillings these can easily be replaced at FHDC.
Here is a recent example of a patient who asked Mrs Precious to do just that with a tooth that made the rest of their teeth look old and unhealthy.
You can see with this old white filling how stained around the edges it had become. This staining created shadows through the teeth which made the tooth appear darker. The top of the tooth was also stained and there was a build up of plaque calculus (tartar).
Before Replacement Composite Filling
Firstly the patient was referred to the dental hygienist for a thorough cleaning to remove the staining and accumulated calculus.
By replacing the composite filling with a new one that was matched to the healthy part of the tooth and its neighbouring tooth, the filling ‘disappears’ an the teeth looks much more healthy and natural.
