One ‘silver lining’ in the cloud that is COVID-19 and the restrictions that it has placed on our everyday lives is that FHDC has found ways to innovate and use digital technology to help our patient journey.
Whilst the delivery of dentistry is and always will be a physical, IRL (in real life) experience, since June last year, when dental practices were able to open again, we’ve introduced online essential form filling, appointment booking & payment, and improved digital communication. This has helped remove points of physical contact and allowed our patients to interact with us at their convenience, 24/7.
As parents who are homeschooling and balancing working from home too, we understand the need to flexibly interact with our service providers out of hours and why this has become even more important. We’re now not even surprised that we often get patients booking their appointments very late at night.
This week we’ve launched our virtual smile consultation tool on our website to help potential new clients start their journey with us from home. Already we’ve received enquiries about Invisalign, teeth whitening, and implants.
