Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are a thin layer of porcelain material which is individually created to fit over the front surface of the tooth.

Dental veneers are used to improve the appearance of front teeth. If you have badly stained teeth that cannot be improved by teeth whitening or deep cleaning, dental veneers can be used to cover up existing stains on your teeth. Below we have example ‘before & after’ treatment photos for dental veneers provided at FHDC.

Porcelain veneers

Dental Veneers are very thin laminates of tooth-coloured material. These are made from porcelain, ceramic or composite bonding material. They are cemented to the front surface of teeth to improve cosmetic appearance.

Damaged teeth that have become badly worn or that are chipped or broken, can benefit from veneers. Teeth naturally wear down you grow older. Older teeth are more likely to have chips, cracks or a generally uneven appearance.

Composite veneers

A small chip on a tooth can quickly be repaired with composite bonding or composite veneers. A single damaged tooth can easily be repaired through a porcelain veneer procedure that provides the same characteristics and colour as your natural teeth.

If you have spaces or gaps between your teeth, these can easily be closed using dental veneers, giving you a more uniform-looking smile. Many people choose veneers as instant orthodontics as a straight white smile can be achieved in a fraction of the time of an orthodontic brace.

Emax Porcelain Veneers

Emax Porcelain veneers are a premium veneer which are designed to look more natural and match with your existing teeth. Teeth are often naturally grey and yellow and not everyone wants to have brilliant white teeth. Here we have before and after treatment photos of Emax Porcelain Veneers.

FAQ’s

What are dental veneers?

Dental Veneers are very thin laminates of tooth-coloured material. They are made from porcelain, ceramic or composite bonding material. They are cemented to the front surface of teeth to improve cosmetic appearance.

Can veneers be used to give a straighter smile?

If teeth are not severely crooked, veneers can be placed over the tooth’s front surface to give a straight smile.

My front teeth appear worn?

Over time your tooth enamel may become worn, dulled, and discoloured. This may be caused by consuming soft drinks, tea or coffee, alcohol, smoking or the use of certain medicines. Dental veneers can be used to cover up your worn teeth to make them look clean, white, straight and healthy.
